Wow! I am really sorry for the lack of updates on this website, but I have been distracted be a big, secret project that I'm working on, that I'll tell all y'all about as soon as it's finished.

Anyway, in other news there's a new Microsoft gig coming up soon, which is nice for my pocketbook and sanity, so we're all looking forward to that. I've also been made the webmaster of a site, but that's not gonna actually kick in until the end of August/beginning of September, so watch out for that.

I swear that I've seen a ton of movies; I just haven't had time to write my reviews what with all the other stuff I've been working on. I also have like four articles jammed in the pipeline. I try to write at least one a week, but with the secret project, things have gotten seriously backed up.

I saw The Fellowship of the Ring on the big screen again. Well, Carrie's bosses have a home theater system in their house, so it was a DVD projected onto a big screen. But cool nonetheless, with kick-ass surround sound and everything.

My computer decided that it wasn't going to allow me to use Word anymore, which is unfortunate because my job requires me to use Word for many, many hours a day. I finally fixed it like this: You know how when you open Word it opens a blank document so you can just type right away? Apparently that document had gotten corrupted somehow, so that whenever I tried to load up Word it would try to load that document, fail, and say, "Screw this! I'm outta here!" (Oddly enough this even happend when I loaded Word by double-clicking on a pre-existing .doc file, so I guess Word opens that blank document no matter what) I eventually figured this out and just changed the name of the blank document from Normal.dot to Normal.old. The next time I loaded Word it looked for the blank document, couldn't find it, and said, "Gee, I better make a new one!"

My laptop has given out again, probably for the last time (see the related article), but there might be a way for me to get a new body for it, which is really the only thing that's broken. We'll see.
