One of my good friends went off to college (she's several years younger than I am) in Pullman, which kind of sucks because it's a four-hour drive and I won't get to see her every week like usual.

I've been working at Microsoft. I'm out of the apartment for like 12-13 hours a day (including travel time), but I'm making well over $200 a day for brain-dead work, so believe me I ain't complaining too much. They keep on changing the dates around and stuff, though.

The Puget Sound Bead Festival happened on the 25th (Sunday), and I worked it. Q13 News even did a story about it and filmed some stuff in the store. It aired at like 7:50 in the morning so I didn't watch it. Not because it was too early, but because I was already on the road to Microsoft.

Anyway, it was a good thing because a good friend of ours came up from California to work the show and see us all, and it was great to see her again. Plus, I made a couple of bucks, so I ain't complaining about that at all (and I may be designing the website of one of the vendors who was there; we'll see).

Because of Microsoft shifting its dates around, I actually got a couple of days off, which I used to completley clean the kitchen. As I write this, there are NO dirty dishes anywhere within this apartment! Victory!!!

Then, to top of a good time, my friend Brandy from WSU made a suprise appearance at Fools Play! I wasn't expecting to see her there, so it was totally sweet. It made me want to FLIP OUT and cut people's heads off ALL THE TIME! In order to thank her for all she's done for Fools Play over the last couple years, we presented her with a DVD player and five DVDs, one chosen by each Fool (I gave her Iron Giant). So in all it was a good time for everyone involved.
