Carrie started her new job at The Bead Factory. She is now the "R&D Manager" or something like that. Her duties are basically miscellaneous things in the back so she doesn't have to be on the floor anymore, which is awesome for all involved. Wicked Pissa. I'm cranking away on The Bead Factory Website, and now I've been hired to re-work The Bead Factory's corporate logo! Kickass!

Carrie went out of town the 1st through the 3rd to Portland to preside over a bead show there. I went to a post-Halloween party without her at our freind Sarah's. It was a costume party, so I went as the robot. Brooks was there, and he came as The Dude from "The Big Lebowski," which was very funny. So funny, in fact, that he won the "Funniest Costume" prize in the costume contest. I won "Most Original Costume" and would have won "Best Overall Costume" except that my vote was split between Best and Original. I did get the most overall votes, though. I like to brag, apparently!

Neighbor Gary got back from NY at like 1:00 a.m. Monday because Air Force One was at the same airport as he was, so security took forevah. He was some three hours late finally getting back. He got me a shirt from "The World," formerly known as "WWF New York." The shirt even has the Attitude-Era WWF logo on it!

Fools Play is performing a co-show with The Dead Gentlemen, an improv troup based out of Pacific Lutheran University. So we practiced with them on Sunday just to feel out how we might best be able to work together. It should be a good show; they all have facial hair. ALL OF THEM. The troup's sense of humor seems a little bit more generic than Fools Play's insanely skewed sense of humor. They're more like something you'd see on mainstream TV. Speaking of TV, I might have some news about that soon...

Carrie and I got the Spider-Man, Attack of the Clones, and The Fellowhip of the Ring (Special Extended Version) DVDs all within one week. Kind of an expensive but entertaining week.

I have some crazy-fun car stuff sarcastically happnening, but I'll write about that when I'm actually done dealing with it so I can tell the whole story in one fell swoop.

Carrie was running really short on money and couldn't figure out why. She caught a little cold so I went to The Bead Factory to pick up some stuff she left there, and while I was picking it up Krissy, the manager, asked, "Do you want to take Carrie's paycheck to her, too?" Yes, that's right, it turned out that Carrie had forgotten to ever pick up her paycheck, which is why she had no money. Neither one of us could believe that actually happened.

We had a fun informal get-together over at Melissa's with a handful of people on a Friday, although there was some Wild Turkey involved. Neighbor Gary somehow managed to have so much that he was still drunk the next morning, which is pretty crazy. We saw The Ring later that day after he sobered up enough. I swear, people, I am actually trying to catch up in my Movie Reviews section, but I'm seeing so many movies right now that I'm like seven or eight reviews behind, and I never seem to have time to write more than one a week. I'm trying, honest!

Brandy came home from WSU and came to Fools Play and it is alway nice to hang out with her. It was our friend Mathias's birthday on Sunday the 20th, and he had a surprise party. Not a surprise for him, but a surprise for the people invited to the party, becuase nobody knew about it until the night before. We had the Red Robin people sing their happy birthday gig to him. They give out googly-eye glasses now when they do that, and Geoff got his hands on them and did an extended comedy rant as if he were drunk, at one point even turning to another table and berading them about putting them "in the box" and craziness like that. A couple of the people at that other were rolling around in stitches about it. Afterwards we wrote Free Passes on packets of sugar and gave them like six or seven to come see Fools Play so they could laugh at Geoff some more.

Monday the 21st was a foody-goody day. Carrie's college friend Eric was up from California for a visit over the weekend, and was heading back down on Monday for a 10-12 hour drive back to Chico, Calif. He was going to stop by like around 9:00 and go out to breakfast with us on his way down. Well, he didn't end up showing up until like 10:45, and was running so late he didn't even had time to eat out with us. So by that time Carrie and I were so starved we just went out to eat anyway. The very same day Brandy was heading back to WSU, so we were going to have lunch out together. About 20 minutes after Carrie and I got back from breakfast Brandy showed up, and the two of us went out to lunch. It also happened to be Carrie's parents' 30th anniversary, so just a few hour later the two of us went over to their house for a big dinner with shrimp soup and clam sauce linguine. I put like 15 pounds of food in my body in the span of like six hours! Good lawd!

Neighbor Gary went to New York, NY for a week, so I'm watching his cat Zaphod. For some reason Zaphod hates Fantastico, so we unfortunately can't have them in the same place at the same time. Carrie and I have tried, but Zaphod turns into a hissing machine.

The 26th was Fools Play's annual Halloween show, which was a lot of fun. There were gobses of peeps in the audience. Mathias won the best costume contest by coming as Scott Baio. A whole bunch of the Tokens people (or Rainy Day Players) came, each one dressed as a different Fool for their costumes, which was very funny.

On Halloween, Carrie and I went over to Mark and Viki's and took thier kids around the neighborhood kind of like we did last year, except this time I wasn't also in costume. It was pretty fun.

Wow! A lot of stuff happened these last couple weeks I guess! This was a long update!
