Happy New Year!

Hey, sorry, I haven't updated sooner, but the holidays are a crazy busy time as you know, and for the last couple of weeks I've been working long hours up at Microsoft, so that doesn't leave any time for anything except driving and sleeping. I had a whole bunch of Christmas Articles lined up, but I never got the chance to write them, so hopefully I will soon. I've also seen a few movies that I have to write Reviews for. I'm not putting the date I saw the movie into my review so I can look back and see when I saw the movies. And you can, too.

Also if you look to the right there, you'll notice it says "Of the Month" Archives. Well, what that means is that I'm going to start keeping track of my "Of the Month" stuff because I can't remember what I've already done and I don't want to start repeating myself too much.

Carrie, Neighbor Gary, and I went Christmas shopping together on Sunday the 15th, hitting like 12 places in one night. So I got most of my Christmas shopping then. But boy was my feets a-tired!

Me, Carrie, Krissy, and Matt took Mark & Viki's kids to Zoolights again for the third year in a row. It was pretty fun as usual, but there was a good deal of construction so there were many things that were missing this year. One of the kids threatened to demand his money back.

We (by which I mean Carrie) cooked Christmas Cookies this year for the first time! Look at them, aren't they the cutest? There was mint meltaways, candie canes, chocolate chews, and lemony things. Carrie was going to make a half-batch of the lemon ones, but she forgot halfway through the recipe so she put in half butter, half eggs, half sugar, but then full flour and everything else. So they came out kinda like shortbread instead of soft chewy cookies. But I still liked 'em!

It was Carrie's Mom's birthday a couple days before Christmas, so the Sunday before we went out to a fondue dinner at The Melting Pot. I've only ever been to two fondue restaurants in my life, and one was in Ohio. This one was good, but the table was too small and we were kinda jammed in there.

Then it was time for Christmas, which I'm going to write an Article about, so hang on.

Then it was our annual New Year's Eve party, which was fun as usual, although it seemed that less people came this year than last. Oh, well.
