Happy Valentine's Day!

You know, I honestly don't remember too much of what happened during the last half of January. I just know I was pretty bogged down with transcribing to do much of anything. I did make a new website, The Puget Sound Bead Festival, which is now officially "under construction."

Then on the 29th of January, Carrie flew off to Tucson, Arizona for two straight weeks. Yes, Tucson. I went there as well for a while (just four days out of those two weeks), and you can read all about it right here, so I won't talk too much about it right now except to say it was fun and... different.

When I got home on the 10th I really didn't have very much energy to do a lot of things. I had planned on cleaning like the whole apartment for when Carrie got home, but instead I just got the kitchen and living/dining room done, and washed the toilet.

Since Carrie was still in Tucson on Valentine's Day, Neighbor Gary and I went over to Melissa's for a nice little dinner. I brought salad, bread, wine, and dessert. Marcus showed up, which was cool because I hadn't seen him in long time. Also Geoff came, so it was Me, Gary, Geoff, Melissa, Marcus, and Travis. Stephanie and Titus stopped by for like a second so they could pick up Geoff and have him teach them Kung-Fu that they could use in thier swing dancing. Travis has an X-Box, so I played Halo for the first time. It is a pretty good game from what I could tell, although there was something very PC feeling about it. It didn't quite feel like a console game. I dunno. Marcus brought over the best movie ever made, Big Trouble in Little China, and I can't think of a better way to spend V-Day than with Jack Burton and Victor Wong and the musical stylings of John Carpenter.

I picked up Devon, Carrie, and Viki from the airport earlier today (yay!). They were bringing home several huge trunks full of jewelry stuff, so I got Viki's minivan and picked them up in it. It was raining, and the minivan has such horrible windshield wipers that I couldn't read any signs on the road. Fun!

But now Carrie is home and it's all good, baby! I've got a handful of new Articles in the pipeline, and I'd like to go see a few movies, so look for new Reviews of those. In the meantime...
