Yesterday (Friday) was a bizzy day. In the morning we went over to the new house to sign paperwork and do a walkthrough thang. Then we went out for breakfast at that Milwaukee Cafe that's just across from the new Bead Factory site. Then in the afternoon we went over to Mark & Viki's in order to take their kids to the Puyallup Fair.
The Puyallup Fair is a big ol' tradition around here, combining the very best of carnie and country fair lifestyles. I got a corndog, curly fries, and scones. Lots of scones. The Puyallup Fair is big on scones. Also onion burgers, which I got one to go and ate it when we got home. The kids wanted corndogs, which is very strange because they don't like the corndog batter, just the hot dog on the inside. So why didn't they say they just wanted hot dogs? Shut up! Carrie & I ended up eating the batter. We were there for like four hours and there were periodic bouts of trauma. Carrie came up with the policy that whenever Sophia started to cry she would just sit down and not move until she stopped. That worked pretty well.
Anyway, this morning Carrie left for Chicago and one of those big bead shows. Don't like it when she does that.
