As Jackie Chan would say...

Yesterday was not a good day. My mind would not shut the f#@k up as I put it in yesterday's entry. It kept on spinning and spinning out these endless conversations that never took place, that I wanted to take place, that I hoped would never take place, endless scenarios simultaneously bad, horrible, scary, etc. And since I'm in the depressed condition I'm in right now, all this crap went straight to my heart as if it had actually happened.

As Jackie Chan would say (in the Jackie Chan Adventures cartoon), "Bad day! Bad day!"

I'd better have an appetite back by tomorrow. Don't want to miss out on Thanksgiving! I have a feeling getting together with my family will help me immensely anyway. Well, most of them.

I feel really bad for Carrie having to be with me while I go through this, though. It ain't rightly fair to her; it's not like she done something wrong. It's all me, baby!

I started feeling better in the evening after spending some time doing my horrible imitation of meditation and then watching Austin Powers on the tele, and then some Jackie Chan Adventures while Carrie was off teaching. The day definitely ended better than it began.

Speaking of Jackie Chan adventures, I have to repeat this horrible, horrifying joke that they had in this episode: Chan and the baddies are fighting in a room with a lot of antiques (of course). At one point the baddies throw a big urn at Jackie, and he catches it and puts it down, then scolds the baddies, "Careful! Babylonian urn!"

Baddie 1 turns to Baddie 2: "What's a Babylonian urn?"

Baddie 2 replies, "I dunno. Probably more than we do."

I roared out loud with indignant disgust at such a pun on my television.
