Hippy buthdae to mah grammaw 

Yesterday (Thursday) was my grandma's birthday, so the whole family minus the one that's in Austrailia went out to dinner at the Olive Pit Garden in Federal Way. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a birthday card for a grandmothe that doesn't make you want to vomit? I had to go to Fred Meyer and then Target to find one (okay, so I went to Target so I could play Kirby's Air Ride and Mario Kart Double Dash). I actually never did find one; I just bought a blank one with a pretty picture, then came home and printed my own message in it on my 'puter.

After dinner Mike and I kept on coming up with hilarious jokes about the Island of Misfit Toys. We think it would be great to create a series of animated shorts (like three to six minutes each) just about the daily lives of these characters. Or at least our versions of them, which only slightly resemble the real versions. An example would be:
CHARLIE: All right, someone put jelly in my box last night while I was asleep. Gun That Shoots Jelly, I'm looking at you.

GUN: Huh? I never did that. Someone must have pulled my trigger while I was asleep!

CHARLIE: All right, who among us has working hands?
