Winding road

Mornings are definitely the worst time of the day for me.

On Wednesday evening Ms. O'Reilly stopped by suddenly to drop off a present for Carrie: a big wreath that we'll hang on our door as soon as we get something with which we can hang it on our door. Brandy also stopped by after having dinner with her dad to pick up the food she had left here.

Thanksgiving morning Brandy stopped by around 9:30 and then the three of us drove (in Brandy's car) over to Krissy's house for bloody marys and mimosas. Then we all went to the new store and decorated. Well, actually Devon and I (and later Geoff and I) decorated. Everyone else was in the back; I'm not quite sure what they were doing. Geoff picked up Brandy, so I ended up driving Brandy's car back here.

I went to the folks' place a couple hours later. Mike showed me everything he's done on the Fools Play Website in the last month or so. This website is so going to kick ass. If you remember (and liked) the first version of Fools Play Island, you're gonna really love this version.

Then we watched some of the extended Two Towers before dinner. There was that shrimp/cream cheese thing with Wheat Thins out, and I ate much too much of it for the current size of my stomach, so that come dinnertime I didn't eat nearly as much as I had hoped I would.

Rachel came by after dinner and I went crazy, horribly but enthusiastically singing Christmas songs with a maniacal smile on my face. We watched an episode of Queer Eye on tape (that was the third time I'd seen that particular episode), and then I came back home, where I found Brandy waiting for the car key I had taken with me (oops). Naw, she's only been here like 15 minutes by the time I got back. Carrie & I immediately went to bed and I gave her many of the leftovers I had brought home.
