Carrie left for Milwaukee from Thursday until Monday. I would have been even more lonely than I was except for the fact that many other womens kept me company. On Thursday Brandy (and later Geoff, but he's not a womens) and I had lunch at Gateway to India. On Friday Melissa (and also Travis, but he's not a womens) took me out to a very late (one month late to the date) birthday dinner at Sushi Tama, my favorite sushi joint in Tacoma. I had spicy tuna roll, rainbow roll (they don't use avacado in the rainbow rolls at Sushi Tama), and some squid. Very tasty. Afterwards we went back to thier place and had probably a little too much to drink while watching the orignial The Terminator. We also watched Friday After Next, but I remember basically none of it. I wasn't really paying that much attention, what with the hooch and all. Usually I'm a pretty fun drunk, but all I did this time was complain how I wished Carrie was there.

Sunday I was too bogged down with tapes to go to practice, but Brandy came by around dinnertime to releive me, and we got an enormous 13-inch deli sandwich for $7.50 and only ate like half of it. There are actually 13-inch sandwiches at that deli for less than $7.00, but this one (the "Italian Coldcut") is the best. So we at sandwiches and pickles and watched another episode of The Avengers. It was nice and relaxing.

Carrie came back late on Monday, which was, you know, a very much hooray kind of event. So much better. She made a nice, romantic dinner of steak on Wednesday. Brandy has been job hunting for a while, and Carrie has connections to a lot of stores, so on Friday she got Brandy a job. Well, a one-day job. But it's still money! Brandy came by because it was the day before the wedding and the rehearsal dinner was happening. So I walked her back down to the church again (you remember, the church from last time).

Friday was also very busy for me because I had to get the new summer schedule of workshops up on the Bead Factory Website, and it was a lot of work this time.

Then on Saturday Carrie had a big jewelry show over at Ever After, and I met her down there for lunch with her, her mom, and one of her mom's coworkers. We went and ate at The Clocktower, which is a really high quality place, but it takes forever for food to get made and then even more of a forever for the bill to show up, so I ended up spending like three hours of my day on lunch. I didn't have time to do any of the dishes that I was planning to do before Fools Play. Shucks, you know? Shucks.

Um, my wife, um, actually, um, I, um, I had told him that, um, he knew that, uh, he was not to get that vehicle, and that he did not have permission to use it.

Well, my birthday month is finally over. Let's see if I can actually remember what happened to me in the last two weeks.

Carrie threw the Geoff/Chris birthday party on the 23rd, and most of the week leading up to that was spent simply cleaning up the apartment because, frankly, it still hadn't been completely cleaned since our big New Year's Eve bash. Yikes! Anyway, this party was another big hit, and it was much easier to clean up afterwards because we didn't make nearly as much food.

We went over to Carrie's folks' place the next week because she hadn't done Mother's Day with her mom yet, and they hadn't given me my present (which was the special Who Framed Roger Rabbit DVD, about which I am very excited).

Our friend Brandy is home from school, so she came to the party and then we went and had lunch at Gateway to India the next week. Her sister-in-law (I think) is getting married in a church around here, so after lunch we walked around to try to find it. You wouldn't think that would be a problem, but there are at least 16 churches within a five-block radius of my home. That is not an exxageration! I actually tried counting once, and finally just stopped when I got to 16! I think it's because we're so close to the hospital. Anyway, we actually managed to find it after a while. Thankfully it was a nice day.

I have to tell you, I have a new favorite TV show. It is the 60s British spy comedy The Avengers. They're playing it on The Mystery channel every day at 4:00 in the afternoon. I can't get enough of it. I even borrowed some DVDs of it from my brother's girlfriend.

Christine got a new apartment which is actually bigger than ours (although it's only one bedroom—the individual rooms are much bigger), and is actually like $200 cheaper than ours. The bad part is that they're gonna remodel it in like a year so she'll be booted out like a cheap boot. But it'll be good while it lasts, I tell you what!

That's about all I can remember off the top of my head right now. My brother and I are doing a major revamp of the Fools Play website, which is very exciting. Carrie flies off for another bead show (in Milwaukee this time) on Thursday morning, which kind of sucks. Thankfully she doesn't have to leave again for several months. I've fallen a little behind in my Movie Reviews, but I'll try to catch up this month. That's about it!
