Social butterfly

I woke up later than I wanted to on Friday and had to quickly finish up and email in my tapes. Then I spent a goodly portion of the day doing laundry. Washing, drying, and putting it away. Around dinnertime I got a call from Carrie's mom seeing if I was up to anything for dinner (I wasn't). So we met down at Enginehouse #9 (I just walked the five blocks). The two of us had never actually just hung out alone before, so it was kinda interesting. She's a lot like my grandma.

Afterwards I walked the two blocks up to The Bead Factory and hung out with Steph there for a while while she helped a woman design her wedding jewelry. Krissy was teaching class and came out at one point to give me a big hug and thank me for making such a wonderful handout for her class. Tee-hee! Steph invited me over to her place after she got off of work to watch a movie. I suggested Lost in Translation, which she hadn't yet seen. So I went home and did some more laundry and played some of that Hobbit video game I'm borrowing from Neighbor Gary. Steph called when she got home from work, and I brought the movie down there and watched it with her and her roommate Katie. Then around 12:30 I went home and slept on the couch again because I was in the process of washing all of the bedding and didn't wish to sleep on the bed without it.

On Saturday morning Brandy popped by and neither one of us had eaten breakfast yet, so we went to The Hobbnob where I had eggs benedict and she had an Italian scramble thingy. I got to take home her leftovers. Afterwards we hung out with Geoff while he was buying new clothes at J.C. Penny's (I ended up buying a $32 shirt that was on sale for $8). Then the three of us wandered around the mall, and Geoff bought me a poster frame at Suncoast 'cause he'd never gotten me a Christmas present. Brandy tried on some stuff in various stores but didn't actually buy anything on account of not having enough money until payday next week. Afterwards we went to Red Robin and shared a milkshake, then all three of us went back to our respective homes and separately took naps. I woke up later than I wanted to and had to scramble to get ready for Fools Play.

It was just me, Mike (blue) and Geoff. It was a very unusual show in that the audience was comprised of almost entirely newcomers, so the show had a very different vibe. It was like we were teaching the audience our style of humor instead of just delving into it for the regulars. It was a fun but very strange show.

Afterwards I came home alone and put all the bedding back on the bed (finally) before deciding that I really didn't want to sleep in it alone, so went back to the couch with the extended Fellowship of the Ring playing the cast's commentary and was asleep in now time.
