I vant to syuck yoor blood !

Yesterday (Thursday) I had to get up plenty early in order to go up to Federal Way and see my gut doctor. He gave me the meds to stop the bleeding and whatnot. We also scheduled a bone density scan for Monday. It was pretty routine by this time. I was starving afterwards so I hopped up to Marlene's and said hi to Mathias and bought some potato salad. I stopped by Fred Meyer's on the way home to deposit that check from Lisa, then swung by Bartell's for to get the meds. The meds themselves only cost like $0.64! I also bought a toothbrush and a water bottle for Carrie.

Carrie had a split shift, so she came home and we made sammitches. My belly was pretty bad so I was kinda off my feet for much of the afternoon, but Carrie sat out on the front porch. Later on I went out there also and all three of us lounged around in the sun. Three? Yes, three: Me, Carrie, and Fantastico.

Yes, Fantastico wandered outside with us and explored the porch and rolled around on the front pathway. And rolled and rolled and rolled.

Carrie had a class that evening so I worked on her handout for the rest of the afternoon. My printer ran out of black ink so I couldn't print the handout out, so I exported them as JPEGs and burned them on a CD, then went down with Carrie to the BF to pring them out there. It worked, but it resized them a little bit. Weird. Then I went home, showered, and headed off to Brandy's where Sandy & Mathias also were. It was nice, 'cause I hadn't seen them in a while. Well, okay, I'd seen Mathias that morning, but I hadn't seen Sandy in a while.

Brandy put on the original 1931 Dracula on account of me having never actually seen it all the way through before. Yes, that's right. I, a movie geek, had never seen Dracula. I've seen Frankenstein (and Bride of- and Son of-). But I'd never seen Dracula. Well, now I have. Unfortunately Brandy had to pause the flick at one point while I had a Belly attack. Then later in the evening when I was about to go home I had another belly attack and had to bleed in her toilet for a while. Thank god I didn't leave just a few minutes earlier, or that would have happened while I was in the car! This attack was so bad that I had to go back and sit on the bed with her for another 45 minutes before I was okay to drive. I could barely walk to the bed. Geoff got me a glass of water and my hand was shaking so bad I had trouble drinking it. Yikes! While I recovered Brandy showed me her "Idea Book" thing where she rips out pages of stuff she likes from magazines. She had a couple pages just of Salma Hayek, of course (Brandy has good taste). They also showed me a couple of scenes from The Impostors, which I've never seen all the way through either, much to their chagrin.

Eventually I was able to come home into the loving arms of Carrie, and we went basically right to bed. Don't feel bad for me; it was actually a very fun evening, except for the excruciating pain (which I'm kinda used to).
