Quite the distance

Yesterday (Tuesday) I met Brandy at Starbucks before she had to go to work. I don't drink coffee, so I had a tall hot chocolate. I was a little shaky on my feet so I drove the three blocks instead of walking. Sigh. Anyway, I gave her the 2nd of her birthday presents (exactly one week late), which was a set of "Wicked & Willing" refrigerator magnets. It was nice just hanging out for an hour outside of the house.

The rest of the day I worked a little bit on BF stuff (adding a search engine) and finally did some work on ANGRY BEEF stuff as well. I gots to remember to start putting those up again. It's hard when you're sick! Carrie had a split shift, so came home and then left almost immediately with Christine to go to The Wedding Bell to pick out her dress in which she's gonna stand next to me. She was successful. This weekend she's gonna take our moms to look at it as well. More on that this weekend.

We napped a little in the afternoon. After she went back to class the weather went absolutely crazy with wind and rain and sun at the same time (see the picture in the "Dramatic Sky" entry below). I tried watching a little bit of Alphaville but I wasn't really in the right frame of mind for that, so instead I came in here and wrote some of my novel. Yeah, well, I wasn't really in the right frame of mind for that, either. I need to read some Lucky Starr stuff before I get to writing. Maybe I'll read one of them this afternoon.

Carrie called me on the way home and asked me to start some macaroni and cheese. I sure wish I could eat that as well. But instead I made myself some egg noodles and sprinkled them with some soy sauce and at them up. Once again I had trouble sleeping until well after 2:00 a.m.

I am feeling a little bit better, but it still seems like a long climb back to the top. I fell quite the distance.
