The backyard possibilities

Yesterday (Wednesday) I was up at 2:00 in the morning (as I mentioned) to finish up Carrie's Wire Bezels handout. It took so long to print, though, that I wasn't able to print them all out. She'll have to find a copy machine and copy the last page. We picked up Brandy outside her apartment. She only had a tiny little bag, whereas Carrie had a big suitcase and another bag. After dropping them off at Viki's I drove home and stayed up until 7:30-ish working on web stuff (like writing for this website).

I put on some Samurai Jack and fell asleep until my phone alarm woke me at 10:00, just as I had planned. I cleaned up the house some, and at 11:00 there was a knock at my door—my dad.

"I'm ashamed of you," I said as I opened the door. "You're only a half-hour early!"

So I showed him the house and the backyard. He was especially impressed with the backyard, and kept on talking about the possibilities it had. He's gonna come over on Saturday and we're gonna garden. That should be a lots of fun. We went to The Rosewood Cafe for lunch, and he said that he had the best tuna sandwich he'd ever had.

In the afternoon I watched Evil Dead II. Man, it's a really strange movie. In my mind I'd gotten all confused as to what happens in the first Evil Dead movie and the second. I'd be like, "isn't this supposed to happen now?" And then remember, "No, that happens in the other movie." I worked some on BF website stuff, but more importantly (to me) is I actually wrote some in my novel. And even more importantly, I actually liked what I was writing. If I can keep in this swing of things, I may be on to something.

I made hot dogs for dinner and ate them with ketchup & mustard and no buns. Just the dawgs, baby! Mary called and said she was bored and wanted to use my internet, so I said that was fine. She came over and used the internet while I watched the series finale of Angel. It kind of came out of the blue, and was much more open-ended than Buffy's ending. Although it highly implies that everyone dies.

Mary officially got a job at Panamonica's, which kicks so much ass. As soon as she gets her apartment up and running I really want to go over and paint with her or something. I just want to paint. I have this idea for a line of paintings...

Anyway. After Mary left I stayed up for quite a while and reorganized all the digital photos on my computer into some sort of logical order. That took quite a long while. Finally I put on Adult Swim and fell asleep on the couch with my pants off. TMI?
