Anyway. Carrie & Mary went up to Seattle for the Folklife Festival of hippie funtimes. I stayed at home and made eggs and peanut butter toast for breakfast, and then watched all of The Transformers: The Ultimate Doom (on disc 3 of the First Season Collectors Edition). I did some BF work, then came back and watched a couple more episodes while I ate Grape Nuts and leftover Girl Scout cookies.
Then I did the unthinkable and actually wrote a damned Movie Review. I am WAY out of practice, so it isn't very good, but at least I stepped back on the wagon for a moment. Hopefully I can hang on and keep writing them reviews as I go instead of falling behind by about 15 flicks.
Mike couldn't make it to practice 'cause of car trouble. Ed, Geoff, and I were all pretty tired, so it was a rather slow-paced practice, but we did get some very good stuff done. Don't ask me to remember most of it, though. Mostly we worked with Taisha, doing stage stories and hot compliments, and then moved into doing actual scenes so we could see her tendencies and whatnot.
When I got home Carrie had made me a treat of a plate of pot stickers, a bowl of black olives, some roasted green tea, and a box of Meiji Zoo Land Printed Biscuits:
See, after they went to Folklife they stopped by Uwajimaya and bought some good Japanese stuff, including the printed biscuits and something called "Dodekai Baby Star Crispy Noodle Snack, Chicken Flavored" that I am really dying to try. There was also some wasabi peas (which I can't eat right now) and some cold green tea drink, and also some sort of green tea soda or cola.
