Polishing off the Nob of the Hob

Yesterday (Sunday) Carrie & I once again were able to sleep in without being awoken by an alarm. Instead we were awoken when that guy came and power-washed the back deck. Carrie & I decided we were a little tired of eating leftover party food, and so we went out to Breakfast at The Hob Nob. It seems that we go out together for breakfast more than any other meal.

We called Mary and she met us there seeing as how she lives basically across the street from the restaurant. I had french toast, sausage links, and scrambled eggs, which I absolutely wolfed down. I could have polished off another whole plate of the stuff. That's a good sign for my appetite! It was cool to be able to spontaneously call up Mary and see if she was doing anything or not. I warned her that I might be spontaneously calling her up rather frequently while Carrie is out of town.

We stopped by Bartell's before heading home, and then really just cleaned and lounged all afternoon. And played Mario Kart, which we hadn't done in a long time. I like playing Mario Kart with Carrie. Fools Play practice started at 5:00 p.m. on account of we're now "training" Taisha to get up on stage with us. Practice went really well, and it was a lot of fun. Taisha has a surprisingly good singing voice (better than mine, but that's not saying much at all).

After practice I came home and made Ravioli for me & Carrie as a late dinner (after 9:00 p.m.). Carrie accidentally dropped a piece of ravioli on her plate and there was a ginormous sexplosion of sauce all over her and the couch. We played some more Mario Kart and went to the bed.
