The zone takes care of its own

Yesterday (Friday) I got up around 7:00 and it seems like I did a lot of web work, but right now I'm having trouble remembering what, other than today's ANGRY BEEF Sighting, which I like a lot. I cooked up some turkey bacon for breakfast and had a couple of waffles to go with it. Nummy!

Anyway, Geoff came over around 10:00 and brought over that Busdriver CD, Temporary Forever. We hung out for about an hour or so, and then we tried to upload the website that he's designing, but we just can't log into the FTP server, and the guy isn't terribly helpful. Ah, well. I had Geoff listen to some MC Hawking and gave him a copy of NMVGPTS's This Will All End Badly. Good times.

I did a ton of BF work in the afternoon, including finishing up the Quality Pewter Spacers page (except for the pics, which I don't have yet). I sent out the invoice for that CD UI thing I did for Diamond. $350 bucks, should come sometime next month. That's nice. That coupled with all the BF work I'm doing this month should make June almost profitable. Crazy. I might actaully be able to start making a living doing this stuff.

Around 5:00 I stopped by the BF for just a minute to steal some Japanese books so that I could scan some interior pages so people could see what they actually look like. I wrote a nifty little javascript image swap function. Anyway, after the BF I swung by Target and bought light bulbs and underwear. Sexciting!

I did some more work, made breaded pork chops for dinner and watched the episode of Teen Titans where Robin has to take the villain's daughter to her junior prom. Then I did even more BF work (scanning them pages), finished up the ANGRY BEEF Sighting, and then put on some NMVGPTS and settled down to do some serious writing.

That's right. I wrote an entire chapter in my book—only six pages, but that ain't shabby. Yee-haw! And it ain't half bad! I was in da zone, baby! It felt great. I'm going to keep myself motivated by printing out whatever I've written during the week and giving it to Geoff to read. I printed it out and took a pen and did some corrections, then finally took my pants off and curled up on the couch with Fantastico around 12:30 a.m.
