Takes some getting used to

Hello! Well, getting up in the morning and writing in this 'blog takes some getting used to. I have to get up somewhere between 6:00 and 6:30 in order to get ready to leave for work in time. That's pretty freakin' early if you ask me. I might have to change this whole thing so that I write in the evening instead of the morning. Or I might just be able to adjust to getting up early enough to write in here. We'll see.

So what happened this week? Well, each day I go up to Seattle and work 9:00 to 5:00, then I come home. Tuesday night Carrie had a class so I didn't get to see her until she got home at almost 11:00 at night. Wednesday my body was kinda shell-shocked from this new schedule. I had a headache so I plopped down on the bed at around 8:30, and ended up falling completely asleep. Oops.

Last night (Thursday) I got home and Carrie sent me to Fred Meyer immediately for supplies. See, Natalie Cohen was flying in for some bead show up in Seattle, and she is going to be staying with us. So I went to Fred Meyer and bought stuff, then I came home and cleaned the bathroom and vaccuumed half the living/dining room when Natalie showed up. Then a while later Devon showed up. And then Missa and Travis. And then later on Mary. It was like a party. Heck, it was a party.

Carrie made antipasto and salad and bruscetta. Devon brought over brie with a honey/lavender sauce. He also brought over caviar and crackers. I don't think I'd ever had caviar before. I like it; it reminds me a little of salmon roe sushi, except much more salty.

I spent just over an hour at the very end of the day prepping the Bead Factory workshops for upload this morning. Don't let me forget to do that!
