Much too hot for this lad

Yesterday (Friday) I didn't get up at a reasonable time again.  In fact, I woke up about ten minutes before I was s'posed to leave.  So I didn't really have much in the way of breakfast.  I got to my brother's place basically on time, though, so that was okay.

My first full day in my brand-new cubicle.  It's much nicer than the old one, and I lo-o-ove the window.  Anyway, I was so sleepy all day that I kept on having waking dreams and nodding off.  Not such a good thing do to when the Director of Production sits behind you.  Oh, well.  Michael let us off a half hour early because it was such a "nice" day.   Nice my ass!  It was in the 90s, which is much too hot for this lad.

Oh!  My birthday presents for Miko (finally) arrived.  I got him a couple E-Ticket magazines; one on Space Mountain and one on Adventureland.  Hope he likes them, ass!

I had to call Carrie on the freeway to Tacoma so she could talk to me to keep me from falling asleep.  When I finally did get home I did sleep for quite a while.  Carrie & Mary went to the Supermall and totally lost track of time until the store they were in announced it was closing.  We thought we all might go see a movie, but by that time it was much too late.

Carrie brought home a hoagie and some brie and grapes for a (very) late dinner.  It was so frikkin' hot that it was too hard to sleep.  Eventually around 3:00 Carrie made a determined effort to do so, and I went out and finally beat Mega Man 8 before coming back to bed and finally sleeping because it was cool enough.
