Very tasty but of course sexpensive

Yesterday (Thursday) I didn't carpool up with Mike & Geoff, even thought it was Geoff's last day of carpool due to his fancy-schmancy new jeaorb.  I, instead, had a doctor's appointment.  I had to leave the house at exactly the same time as if I were carpooling, so I had to get up just as early and didn't have the benefit of the special lane during the second leg of the journey.

Anyway, I'm anemic and my bones are deterioriating.  How are you?

When I mentioned to Dr. Fogel that Carrie & I were going to Disneyland for our honeymoon, he said how he'd gone there just recently and had finally "outgrown it."  It felt like the rides just beat him up instead of being fun.

I only got to work like a half hour late, which ain't too shabby.  About halfway through the day I switched cubicles and moved into a brand-new space that has a window view!  I can see the cool Batman-looking hospital up on the hill from my window now.  Heck, I can actually SEE now.  It's not a dark little cave.  I think I likes it.  We'll see.  I ate leftover hoagie for lunch.

Mike & Geoff left before I did on account of not having arrived late like I did.  I worked an extra half-hour to make up for the tardiness.  As I was leaving I got phone calls from three people.  In ALPABETICAL ORDER:
  • Carrie
  • Mike (on Geoff's Phone)
  • Sandy

Sandy wanted to hang out after I got off work.  Mike informed me that Geoff's truck wouldn't start.  Carrie wanted to know if I would be home before she left for class.

Anyway, what ended up happening was that I picked up Mike and the two of us went to Sandy & Mathias's place while Geoff waited around for a tow truck or something.  And, no, I wouldn't be able to get home before Carrie left for class; I was still in Seattle.

Me, Mike, Sandy, & Mathias went to an awesome Japanese restaurant in the International District for dinner.  There was a half-hour wait for seating, so we wandered through this community garden/park thing for a while.  We were eventually seated in our own room, like in an old-timey Japanese restaurant.  I had tuna tartar and some sushi.  Very tasty but of course sexpensive.

We went back to their Japanese-style apartment and watched something called Super Milk Chan.  It wasn't very good, unfortunately.  I'm too tired to get into it right now.

Oh!  S&M have this really cool gun that shoots honest-to-god smoke rings!  It's awesome!  I wants it!

Anyway, I took Mike home a while later and dropped him off before heading home and getting there sometime around 11:00 I think.
