Wedding chores, go!

Yesterday (Saturday) was a busy day as far as wedding stuff is concerned.  Carrie & I basically spent the whole day doing stuff for the wedding.  We went to the Tacoma Mall and looked at wedding rings at Nordstrom's.  I didn't like any of them there.  So we went to International Jewelers, where I found a freakin' awesome titanium band that I bought for myself.  Once I get married I'll be able to punch through walls!

Carrie didn't like any of the rings there for herself, so eventually we went back to Nordstrom's where she ordered one out of a catalog that goes really well with mine.  I, in the meantime, kept taking my ring out of the box and putting it on.  I wish I could wear it right now!  It K's some A.

We had lunch at the Red Robin and then went to Warehouse where Carrie spent like $60 on They Might Be Giants albums.  Let's see... we got the Dial-a-Song collection, the maxi-single Indestructible Object, and the new album The Spine

Then we went looking to finalize the tuxes, which we did at The Tux Shop in, of all places, The Tacoma Mall (again).  Carrie was getting mighty sick of having to go to the mall, lemme tell you.  Well, so was I.  But The Tux Shop did a great job and got us exactly what we wanted.  Not too expensively, either.

Two more stops.  We went to Paper Zone to buy all the paper we'll need to make the wedding invitations.  While Carrie paid for that I went across the way to Office Depot to buy printer cartridges so we could actually be able to print the danged things out.

And then finally home.

I listened to The Spine on the car ride down to Fools Play.  My first impression is that it's an okay album.  Nothing much really stuck out, and it all had pretty much the same sound.

Fools Play was a rollicking good show ("Board Game").  The strange thing was that LakeFair was happening at the same time.  So we were worried that nobody would show up to the show, like last weekend when LakeFair was also happening.  So me, Geoff, and Mike walked down to LakeFair and Geoff handed out Fools Play money to people in the crowd while Mike & I backed him up.  Just having the three of us walk around in our uniforms attracted some attention.  I'd say like 90% of the people we talked to seemed genuinely interested.  Hopefully they'll actually show up some week.

Afterwar the show we went to the Robin again, but I didn't order anything on account of just having eaten there for lunch.  I nibbled on Taisha's fries and supped on Sandy's shake.  Not as dirty as it sounds.

On the way home I had an horrendous agorophobia attack!  It was crazy-go-nuts!  I had to slow my driving way down 'cause it was kinda hard to concentrate.  Thankfully I was close to home and so I managed to make it there, and then I kinda hid in the bedroom (it has a ceiling) until the attack went away.  Phobias are stupid.
