Yesterday (Tuesday) I once again got up much too late. This time, however, I didn't even have enough time to choose one activity before I had to leave; I just had to brush my teeth and go.

Work was kinda creepy. Usually the third floor (where we work) is full of dozens of people. Yesterday it was practically deserted. It seemed like the builders were practically the only ones there.

I managed to get home from work before Carrie had to leave for class. She wasn't feeling very well on account o' not having gotten more than three hours of sleep the previous night. She was also feeling just generally down-in-the-dumps. So after I dropped her off at the BF (and stopped by Bartell's to pick up some ferrous sulfate to stop me being anemic), I went to Fred Meyer's and bought her a copy of Uptown Girls starring Brittany Murphy and Dakota Fanning.

After I came home I updated this here blog, then installed Word on the little laptop I got from Mary. You know, that thing doesn't come with a disk drive, so I'm not exactly sure how I'm gonna get files off of it. Hmm...

Anyway, I had to restart the computer when installing (which took freakin' FOREVAH), so I lost Carrie's long-running solitaire game in which she had racked up around $1,100 in winnings.

Carrie got home and was delighted to find the movie on the bed. I made her two types of eggs (one with cheese and one with ketchup), she had some chocolate cake that was leftover from Panamonica's when she and Nicole went there last night (Krissy's birthday cake), and some nachos, and we watched Uptown Girls. I fell asleep first; I'm not sure exactly how much sleep Carrie got.
