Yesterday (Wednesday) after I struggled to wake up in the morning I took Carrie to work, then swung by Starbucks and bought her a coffee and scone, and a danish for myself.
I spent a good chunk of the morning doing that whole "Of the Month" thing that I do every month. I then worked on finalizing sketches for the mural. What do you mean? Sure, I started painting before I knew exactly what I was going to paint. Why? At one point Carrie's dad came by to drop off a W-9 form for the work I'd done for Broadway Center of the Performing Arts. He also dropped off a list of questoins he wanted to ask Carrie about Christmas stuff.
You know, I should scan in those mural sketches. That'd be cool. I think they're in the trunk of the car right now. I'll work on that.
Oh, did I mention that Carrie took Animal Crossing and Big Baby (the town) over to Trevor's when she went to help him on Tuesday? Well, I know I didn't mention that she totally forgot Big Baby and only brought back the disc, which makes playing the game pretty much worthless. Impossible, in fact. So no Animal Crossing for me until she retrieves our town.
It was kind of a frustrating work day for me in that I worked really hard on several different things, but never seemed to get anything actually done.
Carrie had a split, and she came home later than usual for it. We went to Panamonica's for lunch (turns out it didn't actually burn down), which was cool as I hadn't been there in a long time. She put her jewelry back in her display case there. One of her old-timey friends has his photography up on the wall upstairs there, so that's pretty cool. We woulda bought something, but they're in color (we're working on the B&W wall).
After we came home from lunch we both passed out. I'm serious! We were out light logs who are being sawed (or something). I woke up first, and eventually woke up Carrie at like 6:15. I dropped her off for her class at 6:50. I then came home and worked a lot on ANGRY BEEF stuff (and some Christmas stuff), which felt really good. Soon that site will actually be fully-functional again! I swears!
Then at 9:00 I drove down to the BF to get back to work on my mural. Carrie showed me off to her class, and I showed all the ladies the sketches I had made. They all ooh-ed and aah-ed appreciatively. I worked there until just after 11:00, completing the outlines of five of the seven ground-level kids (I still have sky and space to go). When I got home I had a dickens of a time falling asleep. Prolly 'cause I fell asleep in the afternoon. Gotta stop doing that.
