Wie treu sind deine Blätter

Yesterday (Monday) Carrie was working out on the floor for a change, due to it being the Christmas season! Actually she didn't end up doing much traditional floor work, she mostly just stocked the s--t out of the store, going back and forth to the warehouse with pretties and things to help make pretties.

Anyway, I went in with her when I dropped her off so we could package up the boxes for Ohio. Then I took them to Das Postamt to send them out. It cost almost $40 just for them two boxes! Insane!

I was preoccupied with something while driving home, because the next thing I knew I was parking behind the Bead Factory as if by habit. So I decided to go in and say hello to the lovely ladies therein. "Next year they're getting gift certificates," said Carrie upon learning of the price of mailing the packages.

I got really, really tired in the morning, so I laid down on the bed and watched Pumpkin. Man, that's a weird movie. I'd love to write a review of it, but I honestly think I need to watch it again before I can say anything about it.

Taisha called in the early afternoon to see if she could come over and use my 'puter. See, after we had all left Sunday night and the party broke up, she was driving Tannerman back when she was rear-ended in a hit-and-run accident! Thankfully she was just a tad sore (and Mike T. was just fine), but she needed to find a body shop to fix up her rear bumper because of the asshat who hit her and then ran like a sissy. So I went and got Carrie for her lunch break and then Taisha came over and used the computer. It was about an hour of checking email, and then she crashed the computer, and then it only took like 15 minutes to find a good body shop (one that's just a handful of blocks away from my house here).

Carrie had left me a grocery list during her lunch break, so after Taisha left I went to Fred Meyer to buy supplies (and also a Christmas present for Mein Vater). I picked Carrie up from work at 6:00, then we cleaned the living/dining room and Carrie made a yummy pasta with a salmon cream sauce with peas. Missa came over for din-dins at 7:00 and ate with us, then after dinner the two ladies went to the mall for to shopping.

Neighbor Gary came by shortly thereafter for rasslin'. T'was good to hang out with him, as I hadn't actually seen him since I helped him move a few weeks ago. Whenever that was. My sense of time is all off. Anyway, it was really a kickass episode of rasslin', with a great matchup of Randy Orton vs Edge.

When Carrie got home the three of us decorated our cute little christmas tree. It's now all cutenized. Der Weihnachtsbaum ist sehr Reizend.
