Walking to the train yesterday (Monday) after work, I passed by a group of Japanese tourists who were taking pictures of each other standing in front of the giant photo of Ichiro on the side of SafeCo Field.

Palpitate

Hey, gang, here's just a quick note. Friday was my Bachelor Party Part Two. Me and practically every male I know went to Panamonica's for hooch and goodtimes. Saturday was my Bachelor Party Part Three, in that it was the "Fools Play Bachelor Party" format. It went really, really well. Yesterday (Sunday) Carrie & I did something that had nothing at all to do with the wedding; we took the kids to the Puyallup Fair.

Don't know if I'll have time at all to write again before the wedding/honeymoon. If not, I'll catch you all on the flip-side.

I can't believe I just actually said, "flip-side." And I do mean SAID. I said it out loud as I was typing it.

Jeez.

Stress!

I was feelin' plenny stressed-out yesterday (Tuesday). Just a lot over my head, what with all the BF work and all the Broadway Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA) charity work I"m doing. Didn't I mention that I was designing eight posters for their silent auction Gala thingy that's happening this Saturday? No? Well, I am. It's quite a lot of work. For which I'm not getting paid. But I will get to write it off of my taxes next year. Taht's very nice, becasue I think it might be around $400 of work or something.

Amyway. In the evening I went and saw Garden State with Gary, Brandy, Heather, and her Chris. It was a beautiful movie, but not exactly a good movie for de-stressing, what with all the crying going on.

As I was driving home, something told me that I should really swing by the BF (where Carrie was teaching a class). Sure enough, she had been trying to call me at home because she'd forgotten my cell number. And there I was! Erin let me in the front, but then I had to move the car around to the back because that's the only way they can exit at night. I dropped Erin off at her home (from which you can practically see ours).

Party Part One

It occurs to me that I should talk about Friday, because that was Part One of my Bachelor Party, as hosted by Geoff.

After work Geoff & Ed picked me up from my house in Ed's car and we went to the Supermall and met there my Brother, Brooks, John Griffin, and Erik Melver. We all watched Hero on the big screen. Pretty spectacular. And pretty pretty.

After the movie I hopped back in the car with Geoff & Ed, and they drove me up to Bellingham for a surprise Wastelanders show at the 3-B Tavern! Pateó mucho como. The crowd was ultra rowdy. They were throwing beer at the stage and wet towels and there were at least two guys will full-fledged mohawks and one guy who was completely freakin' out dancing punkstyle. Ed said that he'd seen shows like that in movies, but had never actually been to one before. It wasn't over until around 1:00 in the morning. Then we drove back to Ed's work so Geoff could pick up his truck, and then Geoff drove me home (we stopped at Jack in the Box for some burgers on the way.

K some A, man.

Minus One

Hello! Yesterday (Thursday) morning the Ford wouldn't start. At all. Fun! I took the train to/from work and actually ran into Mike Dunlap when I got off at Freighthouse in the evening.

I brought all the ladies at the BF flowers again--Leilani, Linnea, Brandy, and of course Carrie.

That's More Like It

There, I've updated my "Of the Month" for September, as you can see by looking at the right-hand navigation bar over there ->

Um, I'll write descriptions of them soon. Honest?

September '04 of the Month... oops

Hello! It completely slipped my mind that I should update my "Of the Month" stuff for September. You'll have to excuse me; I'm a bit distracted by the fact that I'm getting married in just over two weeks. Sorry. I'll get to it, um... soon? That's the best I can do.
