Yesterday (Tuesday) was an interesting day, in that it was the day that I finally finished all my residual Christmas projects: I read all the books I got; I beat all the video games I got. About halfway through the day I found I had nothing that I was actively working on (except for work of course).
The question now becomes, "What project do I want to pick up?" I can think of four things I need to be doing: novel writing, painting, etching, and articles. Hmm... perhaps I should devote one day a week to each?
I picked up Carrie for a split shift and made us some open-faced tuna melts for lunch. They were spectacular. Carrie then proceeded to sleep for two hours. I, meanwhile, called the vet for Fantastico. I had tried calling all morning but they were constantly busy. We're all set for today at 2:15. I just gotta buy her a kitty carrying case.
In the evening I saw A Very Long Engagement. I'll write a review of it before the week is out. Promise!
