Just Start From the Beginning

Over the weekend Fools Play performed 20 questions, which is an easy yet satisfying format. It was like Halloween or something, though, 'cause Leah dressed up like a midieval lady (with velvet and everything), and Sandy got bored and put on practically everything in her closet at once, including a vinyl cape. And when we went to Red Robin everybody was dressed in formal dance gear.

Sunday we cleaned the house as is our custom on Sunday. Carrie made a wonderful coconut-milk chicken soup with ginger and cilantro and great flavor taste. She also made spring rolls from scratch. She followed a recipe for a peanut dipping sauce, but the recipe had her put WAY too much soy sauce in the thing, so it tasted really salty. She had me run to the store to buy more peanut butter just to balance it out.

Fools Play practice eagerly devoured it.

Oh, my brother brought over Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door because he wanted to show me something on it, but he forgot to bring over his memory card. Oops!

After practice Carrie & I watched Iron Chef America. Unfortunately Bobby Flay won, but only by one point! Geoff immediately recognised Mark Dacascos (the Chairman of Gourmet Academy America) from his martial arts work.
