My Fury is Blind

Yesterday (Wednesday) morning I took Carrie to Mark & Viki's so she and Viki could fly to California for a few days. BOO! I stopped by the BF to drop off the finished Fashion Show Handouts on the way home. Well, actually I forgot and started pulling up to the house before I remembered.

I did a metric tonne of dishes and straightened up the living room quite a bit. In the afternoon I took a walk because it was a nice, pleasant day. But about ten minutes into the walk the tempurature shot up about twelve degrees and I got really hot. I had to stop at the BF again to get some water.

I swung by Fred Meyer's and bought some cheese and a salmon steak, and I made salmon with lemon sauce for dinner. It was pretty good, but I put too much lemon into the lemon sauce (you wouldn't think that possible, would you?), so it was really strong. Next time I'll just use half as much, so half of a half of a lemon.

Sometime around dinner I was looking through channels and I happened to catch the last half hour of the 1989 Rutger Hauer masterpiece Blind Fury. Why would I ever watch any part of that movie? Because it has the single best dialogue sequence in the history of history, as follows:

Lyle Pike
Shit!

Tector Pike
Fuck!

Lyle & Tector Pike
Shit-fuck!

Now how can you possibly beat dialogue like that?

In the evening I etched a couple of glasses as a present for Linnea. One had a purdy flower and one had an exciting rocket on it.
