During the day Carrie & I had planned on getting some shopping done, but neither of us felt at all like facing weekend crowds on the last weekend before Christmas. Now way, Josie. So instead we stayed home and cleaned the house something fierce, and wrapped all the presents we had. There are now presents under the tree and it looks pretty cheerful!
Around 7:00 people showed up: Brandy, Christine, and Lawrence. I showed Lawrence the office and his jaw dropped (literally) and he gasped (literally). He was especially enamoured with Unicron and the Army of Darkness figures. Carrie made us all white Russians. I had two, but they were much stronger than I had expected and hit me really hard all of a sudden. Whoops! But I was fine.
We then piled in a car and drove down to Primo Grill. To our surprise it was snowing ever so gently, although with a 0% chance of sticking on the ground.
The party was upstairs, and it was a lot of good. I had salmon to eat, which was vey tasty fish. During the gift exchange we once again ended up with a Heather Lovejoy original painting!
I also snagged a Best Buy gift card, which can be put to use buying whatever I didn't get from my wish lists.
Earlier in the day Carrie had gone on iTunes and downloaded a whole mess of songs that she burnt onto a CD for to dance. During the last hour of the party we put it on and there was much dancing. Mostly by the women. And Lawrence. And I got up there sometimes.
Eventually we were driven back to our house by Travis, although many people just walked back to our house to pick up their cars.
