Yesterday (Thursday) I spent the whole day cleaning the office. And I do mean the whole day.
Well, I took a couple of meal breaks and watched Clone Wars and went to the bathroom and stuff like that. But for the most part it was clean, clean, clean. I took down all my toys and dusted them and the shelves they were on before putting them back nice and orderly-like. Stuff like that.
Towards the end of the evening I wheeled anything mobile out of the room and let Roomba work on it while I dusted the stuff I moved out.
After I dropped Carrie off for her class she called me and asked if I could bring over some nose spray or decongestant or something. We didn't have anything that was non-drowsy, so I just brought her some nose spray. I ran into Brandy at the store and jokingly thanked her for giving my wife a cold. Poor Brandy! She's been sick for almost two weeks now! It's crazy! She's been sick almost as long as she's been home.
Fortunately for Carrie, though, it meant that she happened to have non-drowsy cold medicine with her, which she kindly shared.
One cool thing that happened while cleaning was when I was moving my big art portfolios one of them broke, and a whole bunch of old-timey art fell out. A bunch of stuff I hadn't seen in a long time (and a bunch I don't remember doing). I'm going to be putting them up in my Portfolio area, though probably not until after the new year due to time constraints. So watch for those.
