Yesterday (Monday) Carrie took off from work due to the fact that she'd worked a full day teaching classes on Sunday.
It was a day for shopping.
First off we went to the ol' Bead Factory so carrie could ship out some packages to out-of-state peoples. From there we headed to Knapp's and had breakfast. I had a Monte Cristo omelette, and carrie had bennies with the ham on the side for me to eats. That place has pretty good food and it's really cheap compared to most any other place. Mine was about eight bucks, but that's just because it came with so much stuff.
From there we hit the mall, where we went shopping obviously. I can't say where we went or what we bought in case someone might be reading this.
Then we came home for lunch, which mostly consisted of me eating my leftovers. I made some Indian food for Carrie. Then while soap operas were on, she worked on other presents. I went to Michael's (the art store, not my brother's place) and bought, um, stuff.
Y'know, yesterday is really hard to write about without giving things away. I don't want this entry to contain spoilers!
Carrie's dad came by and dropped off an item that Florentine wants me to etch. Then around 3:00 Carrie & I headed back out for to do more shopping.
Anyway, around 6:15 we headed over to Fife to go to Sophie's holiday choir concert. Viki gave Carrie horrible directions on how to get to the school, so we drove around for a while on the north side of the freeway, where there are no street lights and everything is as dark as humanly possible. Finally I suggested we turn left at a light and we went down to the end of the street and found the school there. We were still on time.
It turned out to be a choir/drum concert. They had a tonne of African-style drums in a big circle on the stage, and the choir would do a song and then the drums would do three. Eventually at the end they did some together.
After the concert I drove Sophia back to her house and stole a cookie as payment for safely delivering her. Why couldn't Carrie or Viki or Mark take her back to their house? Because they had to jet down to Tacoma to have the BF managers' meeting with all the managers: Carrie, Christine, Steph, and Leilani (recently promoted to assistant floor manager).
I went home and read X-E's Christmas Countdown and watched an episode of Samurai Champloo and cooked a piece of beef wrapped around blue cheese. Tasty fish.
Carrie came home towards the end of rasslin' and remarked how some things were completely different but some things were exactly the same as always—like Triple H's ring entrance. By the way, he actually lost to Kane! I was shocked!
Anyway, we went to bed around 11:00-ish.
