Roundabout Tree

Yesterday (Friday) Linnea & Lena came over so Linnea could look up Swedish baby names on teh intarweb. She's leaning towards Eva or Klara right now. They're both the pretties.

Carrie didn't get to take a break until after 2:00 PM, so after I took her back she didn't have to stay back for long. But while she was breaking she tagged some new necklaces, so after I dropped her off I dropped the necklaces off at Ever After. Then I swung by Stadium Thriftway and picked up some beer and a couple of limes. I brought these (as well as marguerita mix and tequila) along with me when I picked Carrie up from work.

I drove us straight to Chris & Cat's house, where Chris & Heather were waiting for us. Three of the four Chrises in the same place! But not four, of course... Anyway, Chris & Cat piled in his truck, and Carrie & I went in Chris & Heather's car and we followed them in search of the Christmas tree lot to which we went last year. But we ended up going the most roundabout way possible, and when we got to the right area we didn't see any signs. So we decided to drive up Waller Road, and we spotted a sign there, but the place had closed at 4:00 PM. It was considerably after 4:00 by this time.

So we all went back to Chris & Cat's house, where Chris taught me how to play Def Jam Fight for New York. I created a character who looked startingly like me (he was even wearing the same shirt I was wearing at the time). Carrie absolutely loved it when the characters would Hulk-out. She really liked the dramatic slow-mo and stuff; she would always start giggling when it happened. Anyway, I got the crap kicked outta me by people like Omar Epps, Henry Rollins, and Flava Flav.

Cat & Heather made enchiladas for din-dins, which we all ate because they were really freakin' good. And there were also margueritas, which were also plenny good.

At about 8:30 we left the party and stopped by Best Buy so Carrie could pick up a present for her bruddah.
