Good Time Din-Dins 

Yesterday (Monday) I got up, took Carrie to work, got her coffee, came home, took a shower, ate breakfast (sushi), all that sort of thing. The usual.

I was contacted via the e-mail by a company that is pretty sure it wants me to become their web guy. They said that for tax reasons it would actually be better for them to get a third-party person (like me) to be their web guy rather than having someone do it in-house. I'd actually been contacted by these guys a couple of months ago, and they said they shopped around and it looked like I was the cheapest guy in my talent range. So this could end up being something really cool, or just a small trickle of cash. We'll see.

Carrie took the car after lunch and when she got outta work she went straight to the store to buy the rest of the supplies for din-dins. Neighbor Gary and Mary came by around 6:30 and stayed until just after 11:00. We had much good foods:
  • Bacon-wrapped shrimp
  • Bruscetta
  • Parmesan bread
  • Mixed vegetable salad (I only ate the croutons out of that)
  • Pasta with a chicken, mushroom, onion, garlic, and gorgonzola cream sauce
  • A handful of beers
  • And I made chocolate chip cookies for dessert

We had the fireplace lit and we sat around and watched rasslin' after dinner. It was a good time.
