It Was As If She Were at Work

Yesterday (Monday) Carrie had the day off, but for me it was as if she were at work because she was gone a good chunk of the morning, then came home for a little bit before going out again for the rest of the afternoon. The main difference was that Linnea & Lena came by and went with her for one of her outings.

I, meanwhile, stayed home and werked quite a bit.

Around 5:30 we went down to Primo Grill and took advantage of a gift certificate my grandma gave us for Christmas. We also took advantage of Primo Grill's before-six dinner special, where you get a three-course dinner for $15. I had the tomato-basil soup (which was more like a bisque and tasted like really excellent pasta sauce), the beef with caramelized onions and garlic mashed potatoes, and the gelatto. Carrie had the soup, the veggie pizza with parmesan and gorgonzola, and the tirimisu. Carrie, however, got so stuffed so quickly that she ended up being only able to eat one slice of the pizza and less than half of the dessert. We both found this very odd.

From Primo we went to Jo-Ann so carrie could browse and buy stuff with which to make some different styles of necklaces. We came home and she did make a necklace, but I'm not sure that she used anything she bought at Jo-Ann.

In the evening I taught her how to load stuff onto her iPod Nano. She handed-me-down her old iPod Shuffle for my use, so I loaded it up with 14.5 hours of my music stuff.
