Wi-Failure 

Yesterday (Thursday) there were two failures involving Animal Crossing: Wild World. The first one occurred in the afternoon when Carrie was playing and accidentally pushed the power button. She had to talk to Resetti.

Then when she was teaching class last night I decided to go over to The Mandolin Cafe. I brought my DS. I played some WFC Mario Kart (I came in 2nd—BOO), then I popped in Animal Crossing and went to my gate and got my Friend Code. I called up Leia to see if I could come over to her town (I got her Friend Code off of her MySpace account). She said she'd open her town's gate. So I went back to my town's gate and said I wanted out. Suddenly I couldn't connect to the WiFi service at Mandolin, even though I had just been on it like two minutes before that.

Eventually the WiFi came back, but when I went to the gate to be let out, it could never find Leia's town. It would search and search. And periodically the WiFi connection would drop out. So I never did get to go to her town.

On the way home I stopped by Target and bought Julian's birthday present. Their party is this Saturday while I'm at Fools Play, so I don't git to go.
