Adaptation

Yesterday (Tuesday) I ate Carrie's leftover cheesesteak sammitch from XXX Root Beer around 10:00 in the morning. I wasn't hungry again until 7:00 at night.

In between those two extremes I went to Radio Shack and bought a car adaptor so that we can plug stuff in (like a DS or a portable DVD player) during our upcoming long car trip.

Oh, yeah, by the way: I'll be out of the country from Friday through Monday. Just in case anybody was interested.

Also during the day I washed some pots and pans, the kinds of things that aren't dishwasher safe.

In the evening, after I took Carrie back to the store so she could teach Peyote Stitch to a full room, there were two episodes of season 2 of Veronica Mars on channel 11. At least there were supposed to be. I watched one of them, but the other was pre-empted due to some Mariners game rain-delay crap. Boo! Not that I should really be watching Veronica Mars Season 2 on TV, since it's about halfway through the season right now and I have no idea what happened during the first half of the season.

After Carrie called and told me to put a pizza in the oven for her so she'd have something to eat when she was done with class, I decided to utilize the very hearty mint in the backyard and make a mint julep. It wasn't very good, unfortunately; I guess I don't quite know how to make one correctly.

I do, however, apparently know how to grow cherry tomatoes very well, because earlier in the day when I was out there watering, I picked one and popped it in my mouth. It was fantastic! And I don't usually like raw tomatoes! I also ate a strawberry, but it probably could have waited another few days ('twas a bit bitter still).
