Yesterday was Carrie's final day off after the PSBF. We didn't really get up and going until after 11:00 in the morning, which is very late for us. She made some jewelry in the afternoon and hung out with Linnea a bit, and I wrote another movie review! Read it here:
Brick (2005)
It's a good thing I wrote that review when I did, because the two of us decided to go see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie early that evening (the 6:20 showing at the big Lakewood theater). Now I'm only three movie reviews beind: Cars, Nacho Libré, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
On the way to the theater we drove down 6th Ave, and as we passed a pedestrian walking in the rain Carrie suddenly said, "That's Gena!"
So we pulled over and offered her a ride, which she gratefully accepted. After driving her to her house (which is in the opposite direction of the theater), we made it into our seats with about two minutes to go before showtime.
After the movie (which is really, really long, by the way), we were both very hungry because we hadn't eaten dinner beforehand, and here it was almost 10:00 at night. So we stopped by a drugstore and I got some macaroni and milk, and then I made an absolutely monstroustly huge batch of homemade Macaroni & Cheese (from scratch, of course), of which I ate much too much. I woke up in the morning with a bit of a stummy ache. Whoops!
