Paddies

Yesterday (Friday) morning Gary & I walked to the store to snag Carrie, who was already there picking stuff up, and I then drove them both to the PSBF. I came home and had a very uneventful, relaxing day. Lisa decided not to go to the PSBF, so we just kinda hung out around the house.

Carrie had a kind of split-shift but was out most of the afternoon running errands anyway. I decided to paint my 4th Painting of the Week. I couldn't find where Carrie had put my water glass when she'd cleaned the office, but I made due with a plastic cup. I filled it with water and put my brushes in it, and Fantastico almost immediately stuck her face down in it and knocked it over. Bad kitty!

Here's what I came up with:

I think it's only okay. I'll do better next week... somehow...

I drove Lisa & Carrie back to the show so they could teach their respective classes, and a couple hours later the vendor part of the show closed down, so I drove back down there and picked up Gary. We stopped at a gas station on the way home so he could grab a brew and some smokes, and after he'd consumed them we drove out to Puyallup to Ed's post-4th party, which had a very good turnout. I hung out with Nathe & Alicia quite a bit, and David was there as well, along with tonnes of people I'd never met and several of the usual suspects. It was goodtimes. We only stayed for a couple of hours because Carrie & Lisa finished with their classes so Gary & I drove back to the PSBF and picked them up.

When we got back home I cooked up some ravioli while Carrie sliced some fresh mozarella and poured olive oil, basalmic vinegar, and salt on the slices for an appetizer. 'Twas good. Gary played his music for the girls while the ravioli cooked, and then we watched the pilot of Veronica Mars while eating. Gary & I even played a few tracks of Mario Kart before I went to bed.
