On Monday I painted my third Painting of the Week while watching the Dreamworks animated film The Road to El Dorado. Strange. Strange movie. Probably better than Disney's Atlantis, though.
I embarked on a grand quest. Remember those three items that I couldn't find at K-Mart? Well, I went to find them. They were:
- A purple or red shower curtain liner
- A smallish ice tea container, the kind that has a spout towards the bottom of it
- A badminton set
I went first to Fred Meyer because I also had some checks to deposit at the bonk there. I located a badminton set for $14.95, but no red or purple shower curtain liners, and only some cheap-ish looking iced tea container things. I put the badminton set back and decided to just get everything at Target.
Target was out of iced tea container things. Target had no red or purple shower curtain liners. This made three place (including K-Mart) that did not have any red or purple shower curtain liners! Do they not make them anymore!? I called Carrie at the store to tell her that red and/or purple shower curtain liners apparently do not exist any more, and we settled on a tan one instead. Also, the cheapest badminton set at Target was almost #30.
I got the shower curtain liner and headed back to Fred Meyer for the badminton set and the iced tea container thing. Sheesh!
I also cleaned the bathroom pretty thoroughly (scrubbing and mopping and all that kind of thing) on Monday.
