Yesterday (Friday) my mom stopped by around 10:45 to pick me up. It was the first time she'd seen my new haircut (although Susan had pre-warned her about it). We drove over to her friend's house in South Tacoma, where we attempted to figure out how to make my Halloween costume. This is my most ambitious costume evar, so it took quite some doing to figure out how to cut the fabric and everything like that.
For lunch we all went to The Rock, where everybody except me mum had the buffet. I probably almost ate the equivalent of an entire pizza.
Back to South Tacoma to continue working on the costume, and we only managed to finish just about half of the sewing. We're going to meet up again next week to finish the rest, but then there's the whole interior framework left to construct! Ambitious.
Shortly after me mum brought me back home I went and picked up Carrie from work. We didn't go out or do anything Friday night; we just stayed at home and relaxed, which was nice in iteslf. I caught up on this season of Battlestar Galactica. Brandy called to say she'd found a really cool candy shop that sold impossible-to-eat candy cigarettes in it. Carrie & I watched the last half of the Heroes episode I missed on Monday, and then we watched a new episode of Numb3rs. We then spent the next twelve hours (almost) in bed.
