日本からの事

Yesterday (Tuesday) after I brought Carrie home for her split-shift and made some perogies (with a lovely, creamy parmesan/bleu sauce), I went to Chéz Targét and picked up my very own copy of Nacho Libre (Widescreen Special Collector's Edition). From there I drove straight up to Sandy & Mathias's apartment in Seattle to do the hanging out with them!

Sandy was the only one home on account of Mathais working, so she showed off all of the metric tonne of stuff they brought home from Japan. She also gave me some stuffs: This really cute robot keychain thing that I promptly attached to my murse, some cool new stylusses (styli?) for the DS, as well as letting me take her old DS for Carrie (Sandy got a new DS Lite in Japan).

We went and picked up Mathias from work and drove to his brother's place, but he and Cambry were out at WinCo Foods and not home. So to pass the time we went and had din-dins at this little hole-in-the-wall type of place called "Athens" or something like that. It was mostly Italian food with a smattering of Greek options. I had canneloni. It was good!

After din-dins we went back to Josiah's place so S&M could give the two of them their presents from Japan. I played with the cute, $1,200 kitty and left around 8:15 so I could get home in time for the new episode of Veronica Mars.

Midnight was fast approaching and Carrie still hadn't come home from teaching class. Finally she called me to pick both her and Carly up and take both of them home (to their respective homes). She said she was starving, so I brought along my leftover pasta for the car ride. Carrie devoured it while we took Carly back to her house, then the two of us came back to our house where I showed off the goodies I was given from Japan.
