After lunch (Mandarin chicken), Carrie actually stayed at home and the two of us worked on a very cool project. See, Viki teaches a "Business of Jewelry" class. She wanted to have an example of promotional materials for a jewelry business, but didn't want to go through the trouble of using a real business. So she had me and Carrie make up a fake company for her. Carrie decided to call it "Bliss" by Sarah Vetch. I designed a logo, business card, and an informational folder with a bio, contact sheet, etc. It was really fun!

I went to Fred Meyer to deposit Carrie's paycheck and also to buy salami, olives, and cat food. Laura came over for din-dins again. Carrie baked the Trader Joe's pizzas and made a really, really excellent salad with havarti and the salami & olives in it (though not the cat food that I'd also bought). She also whipped up a home-made bleu cheese dressing (well, technically it was gorgonzola) and a lemon vinaigrette dressing.
In the evening she went and hung out with Travis Medak, who is back in town for an unspecified amount of time. I watched a new episode of Heroes and dinked around on teh intarwebs until she came home again.
