I'm not sure exactly where breakfast will come in to play. Yesterday it was before my shower. Today (Tuesday) was a little screwy because immediately after my walk I went to the bank at Fred Meyer's and also bought some carpet cleaner (I'll tell that story tomorrow), then ate breakfast as soon as I got home.
But anyway... Carrie didn't come home for lunch because she had a meeting with Viki at Primo Grill. So I went to Target and bought some new friends:
I totally, totally think they're the cutest things EVAR! I knew about them because Taisha bought the Ghosty for Mike, and I saw it when I went over to his place for practice. I had to have it for myself!
Carrie also became instantly enamoured with them when she came home. So much so that she immediately grabbed Ghosty and took a nap in the bedroom with him (she'd kinda had a crappy headache all day).
After a showt while we (mostly she) started cooking an awesome sausage-tomato sauce with onions, mushrooms, garlic, and red wine. At around 5:20 Laura came over, and the three of us enjoyed a scruptious meal of pasta with that sauce, as well as some focaccia and mozarella salad.
Unfortunately Laura had to go to work at 6:00, and so Carrie drove her. When Carrie came back she expressed that she still felt like hanging out with people. So she went and got Lawrence. When they got back I was watching the beginning of the 3-hour version of David Lynch's Dune, which Lawrence could quote just as well as Geoff ("Put your hand inside the box." "What's in the box?" "Pain."). And after he ate his fill of dinner, Lawrence played each of us a full game of Mario Kart Double Dash (around 1 hour and 45 minutes total). Then we watched the last ten minutes of Dune ("I will kill him!") and most of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory before we took him on back to his apartment.
