I etched some more glasses during the days, this time of four-leaf clovers. They look pretty durned cute, and they'd be especially cute if you were Irish. Or just liked to drink.
Y'know, pretty much from here on out until Thanksgiving I'm going to be writing that I etched a couple of glasses. I needs me some inventories!
I also made a last-minute run back to the hardware store to pick up some final supplies for my costume. Anybody who was at the show yesterday knows what it was, but for those of you who didn't see it, I ain't gwine t'spoil it yet.
Carrie went over to Lisa's in the apréz-noon to bead with her, whilst I didst finish up my costume. I cooked some potstickers for din-dins, and the very instant that I finished cooking them Carrie came home with a chicken satay wrap for me. So I let her eat the potstickers while I ate the wrap (which was, in the end, quite delicious).
Then it was on down to Fools Play for the big show. I took les photographs, so here are some highlights:
After the show we (almost) all went out to Rib Eye as per usual. I sat with Leia & Kedar and Mathias. What was unusual was that it took freakin' forever to get my food. I mean it. It took so long that they only charged me half price for it. Ridiculous. What's not so ridiculous is that Mathias gave me another present from Japan, a very strange (and very cool) diorama thing of Duke Togo, aka Golgo 13. It now sits proudly on the toy ledge above my monitor, watching me, cigar in hand, as I type.
