Yesterday (Friday) I took Carrie to work at 7:00 in the freakin' A.M.! That was way very early, especially considering that I hadn't fallen asleep until sometime around 2:00 in the A.M. So after I took her to work and got her a coffee, I came home and fell back asleep until 10:30.
Later in the morning I went to the hardware store (actually, two hardware stores). Why? Why, to buy supplies for my Halloween costume, of course! And, no, it's not a robot costume. You'll see... and be amazed.
Carrie had a rare Friday split-shift, and she basically slept the whole time. I walked down to the Schuck's Auto Supply on the corner and bought a new headlight to replace the one that burned out on the Toyota. I did it all myself and got my hands all covered in grease and grime like a real mechanic!
Then I went over to the Tarbet house really briefly to borrow a hacksaw. Why? Why, to make my Halloween costume, of course! You'll see... and be amazed.
I worked on the costume for the rest of the afternoon until I took Carrie back to the store. Then in the evening I watched Battlestar Galactica and Numb3rs before Carrie came back home.
