We took her to the Muckleshoot Casino. It was one of the Christmas gifts we gave her; some money and a date when we would take her. Yesterday was that date.
That place is huge. Sewiously. They have free valet parking, though, so we got to go right to the front door and wheel grandma inside in the wheelchair we brought along. Made it a little easier.
We played the poker slot machines, which is kinda fun. Unfortunately none of us did very well at all. I did the best, as I only lost ten bucks. Carrie & I took a lunch break and had some sushi at the little sushi bar inside the building.
Grandma played so much that she accrued enough points to get two crystal candlestick holder things as a parting gift.
We then drove to Carrie's folks' house, where we waited for a while for them to come home with Carrie's great aunt (and Grandma K's sister) Carolyn from Chagrin Falls. She's in town for the week.
Carrie had to go to a store meeting at dinnertime, but the rest of us had yummy pork roll. Carrie came back in time for leftovers and an apple/cranberry pie for dessert. 'Twas all tasty.
Carrie's dad said he'd take Grandma K back home, so Carrie & I drove on home ourselves. Carrie had a pretty bad headache, so I put her to bed and did some laundry, shut up the house, and joined her.
