It Begins 

The first day of 2007 (yesterday/Monday), when I finally got up around 10:00 I made some breakfast/brunch for me, Carrie, and Gary (the only person who crashed at our house after the party). What did I make? Why, Hello Kitty waffles using the Hello Kitty Waffle maker, of course! Duh! Carrie also made a big batch of scrambled eggs to go with it.

In the afternoon the three of us just kinda relaxed. Carrie & Gary played many, many games of Tetris DS versus each other. I joined in a couple of times as well, but I also just caught up on some reading and whatnot. Just chillin'. Y'know. Little bit of illin'.

At 3:30 or so we went and saw a movie over at the Galaxy Tacoma 6, which is about five minutes from my house. We went and saw Jack Black in The Holiday. It was a very cheesy romantic comedy, but it was not actively bad in any sense (except for a couple of parts maybe), and Jack Black had his toned-down charm going full swing. Hmmm... methinks I should write my first review of the new year today. Look for it later this evening!

After the movie there were a couple more games of Tetris DS before Gary left. Carrie & I left at the same time; we went to Azteca for din-dins (we had a coupon).

When we got home we put Stick It on in the bedroom, crawled into bed and played many a game of Tetris DS verses each other. I surprised myself by how good I got at it so quickly; back in the days of the Nintendo DS meets I would routinely come in in the bottom three of eight; I beat Carrie about 20 to 6 last night.

Oh, also someone left a jacket/sweater thing here at the party. I'll post a picture whenever Blogger actually lets me (we're still having problems).
