Around 1:15 I walked down to the store for lunch with Carrie. She had me go a couple doors down to Subway and get us some sammitches. I had a coupon from the Entertainment Book, so they both came to under five bucks. We ate in the Bead Factory's Party Room with Steph and Christine, then I walked on back home.
It was sunny out in the afternoon, but barely above freezing, so the sun melted some of the snow, and then in the evening when the temperatures dropped again, all that melted snow turned into sheet ice. Funtimes!
Carrie walked home after work with Trevor in tow. She made us all some hot cocoa, and played some Tetris with Trevor in between watching Mythbusters and Teen Titans. Viki eventually came by with the other kids and picked him up. Carrie & I stayed home.
We made a rather yummy chicken casserole for din-dins (I cooked the chicken, Carrie cooked the vegetables and then put everything together in the oven). We also cracked one of Laura's family wines, a raspberry white zinfandel. It was really, really goot. I mean it! While I ate I watched most of Conan the Destroyer
Around 10:15 I started to get sleepy ('cause I'm an old man), so I shut off the house, washed some dishes, got into bed and played some Tetris with Carrie. Still didn't get to sleep until just after midnight, though.
